The Pointer Sisters is an American group of R&B, soul and pop music formed in 1971. The group consists of four sisters: Ruth, Anita, Bonnie and June Pointer. The group experienced significant commercial success in the 1970s and 1980s with hits such as "I'm So Excited", "Fire", "Slow Hand" and "He's So Shy". The group has sold over 20 million albums worldwide and has been nominated for seven Grammy Awards.
