Starsailor is a British music group hailing from Wigan, consisting of four members: James Walsh (vocals, guitar), James Stelfox (bass), Barry Westhead (keyboards), and Ben Byrne (drums). Founded in 2000, the group takes its name from an album by Tim Buckley. They gained considerable success with their first album, "Love is Here" (2001), which reached number two on the UK charts. Their single "Four To The Floor" achieved huge international success. Since the start of their career, Starsailor has released several albums and has made significant contributions to the British independent rock scene. With their blend of indie rock and folk, the group's musical style is characterized by melodic and poetic ballads, often described as emotional and authentic. Throughout their career, Starsailor has toured with many renowned musicians and bands, such as The Rolling Stones, The Police, and U2, confirming the recognition of their talent. The group took a break in 2009 before reuniting in 2014.
