BIOGRAPHY
Usura is an Italian music group formed in 1989 in Turin. The group consists of Domenico Cipriani (vocals, guitar), Stefano Fontana (keyboards), and Andrea Previtali (drums).
Usura began playing electronic and house music in the 1990s, and released several singles and albums during that decade. Their music was influenced by acid house, techno, and hip-hop. Usura also collaborated with artists such as Brian May, Giorgio Moroder, and Joe Cocker.
In 2000, Usura released the remix album titled "Open Your Mind", which was well received by critics. The album reached number one on the charts in Italy and Switzerland, and was certified gold in Germany.
The group has also been involved in various charity projects, including the "No War" campaign in 2003, aimed at raising awareness about the war in Iraq.
In 2006, Usura released their final album titled "Dance Floor", which was certified gold in Italy.
Although the group announced their separation in 2007, they reunited for a reformation tour in 2009.
