Alessandra Amoroso is an Italian singer and songwriter born on August 12, 1986 in Galatina, in the province of Lecce. She began her career by participating in the eighth season of the famous Italian talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi, where she finished in first place. After signing a contract with Universal Music, she released her first album titled Stupida in 2009, which was a commercial success and reached the top of the music charts in Italy.
