Born Nir Tibor in Tel Aviv, Israel, in 1993, he rose to fame in 2016 after the release of his single "Nevermind", which became an international hit. At the age of 13, he learned to play the trumpet, which was the first instrument he learned to play before the guitar and piano. After completing high school, he graduated from the Thelma Yellin School of Arts in Giv'atayim, Israel.
