Fred Rister is a French producer, songwriter, and DJ, born on April 7, 1966, in Paris. He began his career as part of the disco-funk duo Rister-Sister before embarking on a solo career in 1980. Fred Rister has collaborated with numerous artists such as David Guetta, Bob Sinclar, Martin Solveig, and Afrojack. He has also produced several albums, including "Funky Frenchy" (1995), "Dancefloor" (1998), and "Groove" (2001). In 2011, he was named "DJ of the Year" at the Victoires de la musique.
