BIOGRAPHY

Jordin Sparks is an American musical artist who rose to fame after winning the sixth season of the reality music competition show American Idol in 2007. She was born on December 22, 1989 in Phoenix, Arizona. Her debut single "This Is My Now" peaked at number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States. In November 2007, she released her self-titled debut album, which included hits such as "Tattoo" and "No Air" and achieved commercial success, reaching the top 10 in the US. In 2009, Sparks released her second album "Battlefield", which reached number seven on the Billboard 200 chart and featured successful singles like "S.O.S (Let The Music Play)" and "Battlefield". Apart from her music career, Jordin Sparks has also ventured into acting. She made her film debut in the 2012 movie "Sparkle" alongside music icon Whitney Houston. Since then, she has appeared in several other film and television productions. Sparks has also been recognized for her philanthropic work, supporting various charitable causes and advocating for issues such as literacy and girls' education. She has been nominated for and received several awards for her music and philanthropic efforts.
