Kristina Maria is a Canadian singer and songwriter, born on March 4, 1987, in Toronto, Ontario. She grew up in Mississauga, Ontario. At the age of 16, she began writing her own songs, and at 18, she signed a development contract with EMI Music Canada. In 2006, she released her first single, "Let's Play", which reached the top 40 in Canada. In 2007, she released her first album, Tell the World, which was certified gold in Canada. In 2009, she released her second album, Karma, which was certified platinum in Canada. In 2011, she released her third album, Think Bigger, which was certified gold in Canada. In 2013, she released her fourth album, Love me like that, which was certified platinum in Canada. In 2016, she released her fifth album, The Comeback, which was certified gold in Canada. In 2019, she released her sixth album, Party's Over, which was certified platinum in Canada.
