BIOGRAPHY
Mis-Teeq is a British R&B group known for their unique style influenced by various musical genres including garage, R&B, and rap. The group, consisting of Alesha Dixon, Sabrina Washington, and Su-Elise Nash, was formed in 1999 and quickly gained popularity in the 2000s. Their hits such as "Scandalous" and "One Night Stand" were particularly well-received in the UK and internationally.
In 2003, Mis-Teeq was nominated for the Brit Award for Best Urban Music Act and was one of the few British groups to break into the US market. After the release of their second album "Eye Candy," the group disbanded in 2005 so that its members could pursue solo careers. Since then, Alesha Dixon has seen the most success as a solo artist, not only as a singer but also as a television presenter and dance judge.
