BIOGRAPHY
Alaina Marie Beaton, better known by her stage name Porcelain Black, is an American artist, singer, songwriter, model, and actress, born on October 1, 1988, in Detroit, Michigan.
Porcelain Black grew up in a difficult family environment, marked by domestic violence. At the age of 10, she began writing songs and started her musical career at only 16 years old, recording demos with local producer Roy Cicala. In 2006, she signed a contract with the label Lava Records.
Her first single, "This Is What Rock N' Roll Looks Like", reached number 9 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs chart in 2011. Her first studio album, titled "Mannequin Factory", was released in 2012 but did not meet the expected success, leading to the end of her contract with Lava Records.
In 2014, Porcelain Black signed a management deal with Troy Carter, Lady Gaga's manager, before securing a production contract with Interscope Records for her second studio album, "Rose", released in 2016. Unfortunately, this album also did not find its audience and Porcelain Black broke her contract with Interscope Records shortly after its release.
In 2019, Porcelain Black released her third studio album, "The Painted Doll", which unfortunately suffered from commercial failure, being criticized for its lack of creativity.
In 2020, Porcelain Black caused controversy due to racist comments on social media. She was dropped by her manager and removed from several social media platforms.
