TJR is an American electronic music producer and DJ, born on February 4, 1985, in Los Angeles, California. After growing up in the city of San Diego, TJR began his musical career playing guitar and bass in several rock bands. In 2006, he discovered electronic music and quickly began producing his own tracks. TJR released his first single, "Funky Vodka," in 2012. The track was a commercial success, reaching number one on the US dance chart and in the top 10 in Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. In 2013, TJR released his second single, "Ode to Oi," which was even more successful than "Funky Vodka." The track reached number one on the dance charts in the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. In 2014, TJR released his third single, "What's Up Suckaz," which was another commercial success. It reached number one on the dance charts in the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. In 2015, TJR released his fourth single, "Bounce Generation," which was even more successful than the previous three. The track reached number one on the dance charts in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and in several other countries. TJR is considered one of the best DJs and electronic music producers of his generation.
