The Script is an Irish pop rock band from Dublin. It consists of three members: Danny O'Donoghue, Mark Sheehan, and Glen Power. The band formed in 2001 and released its self-titled debut album in 2008. The band's second album, Science & Faith, was a commercial success, reaching number one on the Irish and British charts. Their third album, #3, was also successful, reaching number one in Ireland and number two in the UK. The band's fourth album, No Sound Without Silence, was also successful, reaching number one in Ireland and number two in the UK. In 2018, the group released its fifth album, Freedom Child, which reached number one in Ireland and number two in the UK.
