Tulisa Contostavlos (born July 13, 1988), known as Tulisa, is an English singer, songwriter, actress, and television personality. She is known for being a member of the now-defunct hip-hop group N-Dubz, with her cousin Dappy and friend Fazer. Tulisa gained recognition after participating in the third season of The X Factor, where she reached the final and finished in second place. In 2011, she released her first solo single "Young", which entered directly at the first place of the British singles chart. Her first album The Female Boss was released in December 2012 and reached the 35th place in the UK. As an actress, Contostavlos has appeared in the British horror films Demons Never Die (2011) and Big Fat Gypsy Gangster (2011).
