Ellie Goulding is a British singer and songwriter born on December 30, 1986 in Hereford, Herefordshire. She signed a contract with the American major label Interscope Records in 2009. Her first album, Lights, was released in February 2010 and topped both the UK and US charts. Goulding then released her second album, Halcyon, in October 2012, which reached fourth place in the UK and was certified double platinum. In 2015, her third album, Delirium, reached third place in the UK and was certified platinum. Goulding has also released two compilations, including one of her most well-known songs, "Love Me Like You Do", from the soundtrack of the movie Fifty Shades of Grey.
