Esmaye is a French artist, born in 1981 in Lyon. She started her musical career in 1998, playing the guitar and singing in Lyon's clubs. In 2000, she released her first album "À la vie à la mort" which was well received by critics. In 2001, her second album "Sans raison" was a commercial success. In 2002, she released "L'amour est aveugle", which was critically and commercially acclaimed. In 2003, she released "C'est la vie" which was also commercially successful. In 2004, "À la folie" was a critical and commercial success. In 2005, "Tout va bien" was well received. In 2006, "Un jour comme un autre" was successful. In 2007, "Encore une fois" continued the success. In 2008, "À la vie à la mort" was successful. In 2009, "Sans raison" also was successful. In 2010, "L'amour est aveugle" was commercially successful.
