BIOGRAPHY
Massive Attack is a British musical group formed in 1988 in Bristol, UK. They are known for inventing the "trip hop" genre with their revolutionary album "Mezzanine" released in 1998. The group consists of Robert "3D" Del Naja and Grant "Daddy G" Marshall.
Over the years, the group has had various members, but 3D and Daddy G have remained the main members. Their first album, "Blue Lines", was released in 1991 and was a commercial and critical success, creating a new genre of electronic music. Their second album, "Protection", was released in 1994 and continued the success of the first.
However, it was with their third album, "Mezzanine", that Massive Attack truly made a mark in music history. The album received universal praise for its innovative sound - a mix of electronic music, hip-hop, and reggae, and is often cited as one of the greatest albums of all time.
