Threshold is a British progressive metal band originating from Reading, England. Formed in 1987 by Karl Groom and Richard West, the band released their self-titled debut album in 1991. Despite several lineup changes over the years, Groom and West have remained the mainstays of the group. Threshold has released eight studio albums, with their latest one, For the Journey, coming out in 2014. Their album Psychotic, released in 2001, reached number 27 on the UK charts.
