BIOGRAPHY
Vespa 63 is a French electronic music duo originating from Toulouse, composed of musicians Laurent Vespa and Jérôme Martinez. The group was formed in 2006.
They gained recognition with the release of their first self-titled album "Vespa 63" in 2007, well received by critics and nominated for the "Electronic Music Prize" at the Victoires de la musique 2008, also winning the "Discovery Prize" during the ceremony.
In 2009, Vespa 63 released their second album "Electricity", which was also well received by critics and nominated for the "Electronic Music Prize" at the Victoires de la musique 2010.
Their third album "III" was released in 2010, followed by "IV" in 2012, "V" in 2014, "VI" in 2016 and finally "VII" in 2018, all well received by critics.
Recognized as one of the most important French electronic music groups of its generation, Vespa 63 is compared to formations such as Daft Punk, Air and Justice.
