BIOGRAPHY
Yves De Lacroix Parsley (born October 8, 1967) is a French-American musician, composer, and producer. He is best known for his work with the band Les Claypool's Frog Brigade and his solo project, Yves De Lacroix & The New Orleans All Stars.
Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Parsley grew up in the French Quarter and began playing music at a young age. He was exposed to a variety of musical styles including jazz, rock, and blues. He studied classical piano and composition at the University of New Orleans, and later earned a master's degree in music from the California Institute of the Arts.
Parsley has collaborated with several artists including Les Claypool, Primus, Buckethead, and Bill Laswell. He has also composed music for film and television, and his work has been featured on the soundtracks for the films The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions.
