"Dan Winter è un compositore e musicista americano, nato il 28 marzo 1953 a New York. Cresciuto nel quartiere del Queens, ha studiato musica all'Università di New York. Dopo aver conseguito la laurea, ha intrapreso la sua carriera esibendosi in vari club di jazz a New York. Successivamente, Dan Winter ha lavorato come musicista free-lance, registrando album per numerosi artisti. Nel 1983, ha pubblicato il suo primo album da solista intitolato 'New York Nights'. Ha inoltre composto musica per il film 'The Cotton Club' e la serie televisiva 'Miami Vice'. Nel 2001, Dan Winter ha pubblicato il suo ultimo album, 'The Blue Hour'. Attualmente risiede a New York."
