Gary Low è un artista musicale americano nato il 12 giugno 1952 a Brooklyn, New York. Ha iniziato la sua carriera suonando nei club jazz di New York al fianco di grandi artisti come Dizzy Gillespie, Miles Davis e Sarah Vaughan. Nel 1977, ha pubblicato il suo primo album da solista, "New York City Nights", che è stato ben accolto dalla critica. Successivamente, Low ha registrato diversi album per l'etichetta RCA, tra cui "You Are My Miracle" (1979), "In the Heat of the Night" (1981) e "The Other Man" (1982). Nel 1984, si è unito al gruppo italiano di disco Easy Going e ha registrato l'album "Baby I Love You". Gary Low è anche apparso in diversi film come "The Cotton Club" (1984), "New York Stories" (1989) e "The Perez Family" (1995).
