Roberti van de Corput, noto soprattutto con lo pseudonimo Hardwell, è un disc jockey e produttore musicale olandese nato il 7 gennaio 1988 a Breda, nei Paesi Bassi. È particolarmente riconosciuto per il suo stile electro-house, ma anche per i suoi remix di canzoni di vari generi. Hardwell ha iniziato a fare musica elettronica a una giovane età. Ha pubblicato il suo primo singolo "Forever Young" nel 2006, ma non ha guadagnato popolarità fino alla pubblicazione dei singoli "Spaceman" e "Apollo" nel 2012. Questi singoli hanno raggiunto la vetta delle classifiche internazionali di musica elettronica. Nel 2013 e 2014, è stato nominato DJ numero uno al mondo nella Top 100 DJ di DJ Mag, diventando così il più giovane DJ a ricevere questo riconoscimento. Nel 2015, ha lanciato la sua etichetta, Revealed Recordings, su cui ha pubblicato diversi singoli di successo. Hardwell ha suonato in concerti in tutto il mondo, tra cui Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival e Coachella. Ha fatto una pausa indeterminata dalla sua carriera da DJ nel 2018, ma ha annunciato nel 2020 che stava considerando un ritorno. Nonostante la pausa, ha continuato a pubblicare nuova musica, tra cui remix e collaborazioni con altri artisti. È noto per le sue esibizioni live dinamiche e il suo stile di produzione innovativo.
