Die amerikanische Rockband The Doobie Brothers wurde 1970 in San Francisco gegründet. Sie erlangten kommerziellen Erfolg mit den Singles "Black Water" und "What a Fool Believes", die beide die Nummer eins im Billboard Hot 100 erreichten.
