BIOGRAPHY
Mario Castello is a French musician born in Paris in 1977. Coming from a family of musicians, he began his career playing piano in jazz clubs in the capital. In 1999, he founded the electric jazz group "Electric Groove" with which he recorded two albums. In 2006, he formed the trio "Castello 3" to explore sounds and rhythms from around the world. In 2010, he released his first solo album, "Journey", offering a musical journey through the different cultures of the world. He then created the French-American group "Les Nuits d'été" in 2012, mixing jazz, classical music and pop. In 2014, he unveiled his second solo album, "The French Connection", in tribute to French music from the 60s and 70s. He then released "The Italian Job" in 2016, dedicated to Italian music, and "The Spanish Connection" in 2018, paying homage to Spanish music of the same era.
